Picturesque place next to the foot of the dam walking along the Manzanares River. You can follow the path along the river from Aravaca to extend the route a bit if you prefer.

The El Pardo Reservoir dam is located on Monte de El Pardo, within the Regional Park of the Upper Manzanares Basin, in Madrid. It was built in 1970 and has a maximum height of 35 metres and a crest length of 830 metres. The reservoir occupies an area of 550 hectares and has a storage capacity of 45 cubic hectometres.
