Miliés is an ancient village in the municipality of Segusino, belonging to the Mountain Community of the Treviso Pre-Alps. It is located in a basin at 680 m.s.l.m., protected by the mountainous ridge of Monte Doch-Monte Cesen and open towards the Treviso plain. The origin of the name Milies seems to derive from the Latin: Miles-militis that is soldier.
