The “Holy Halls” are a 360-year-old beech forest that enjoys cult status among nature lovers and scientists. The 65.6 hectare total reserve is located near the spa town of Feldberg in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. One of the oldest beech forests in Germany!

Unfortunately, the (old) tree population with mighty beech trees has decreased significantly and there is a lot of deadwood. The halls have lost their charm of 10 years ago.
At the “Waldmuseum Lütt Holthus”, experienced rangers offer tours through the Holy Halls!

Very impressive, these riiesgen trees that are already at the 400 years old. Unfortunately, with the ravages of time, so many have fallen.
