The “Holy Halls” are a 360-year-old beech forest that enjoys cult status among nature lovers and scientists. The 65.6 hectare total reserve is located near the spa town of Feldberg in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. One of the oldest beech forests in Germany!
Unfortunately, the (old) tree population with mighty beech trees has decreased significantly and there is a lot of deadwood. The halls have lost their charm of 10 years ago.
At the “Waldmuseum Lütt Holthus”, experienced rangers offer tours through the Holy Halls!
