grandiose views open up again and again on this path, you hardly notice anything from the main road and escape the traffic chaos. Hard to believe how beautiful the Fernpass can be.

Gravel driveway that grazes the old via Claudia Augusta and reveals a deep view of the new Fernpass road at the top of the pass. Information boards explain the historical development of the pass trails here. Very interesting and good to drive!
