Osterbergalpe

On this alp there is pure family idyll: The young father with the full beard comes with three of the five children from the cow pasture - the smallest offspring sits in the paddock converted into a playpen in front of the stub door and the "big" sister (around nine years old) helps to entertain the guests. On a large dung heap, the main rooster looks for potential enemies. Between the guests there is still the only remaining one of the three remaining fat ducks ... the other two have brought the badger (who believes it).

Conclusion: definitely worth a visit!

Alpe Osterberg was first mentioned in 1608 and is managed from May to October today. Alpe Osterberg is located at 1,268 m asl, near the Austrian border between Tiefenbach near Oberstdorf and Riezlern in the Kleinwalsertal

On the way from Tiefenbach over the Stuhlalp towards Kleinwalsertal, the Alpe Osterberg is slightly off the beaten track. The additional ascent is rewarded with a wonderful view of the Oberstdorf and Kleinwalsertal mountains! Bikers are warmly welcomed and catered for up here. The whole family helps to take care of the guests.
Have driven past many times before, the detour will be a must in the future!
