Tips
The old village church, a half-timbered church built in 1745, is a listed building for the town. Due to the acute danger of collapse, the church lost its protection status in 1980, which it regained five years later.
A memorial is dedicated to Jean Louis Frederic Digeon of Monteton (1752-1806) who, as a professed Freemason, did not wish to be buried in the family plot. The legend of the devil can also be read on the desk stand. Since 1742 the von Monteton family had resided in Priort.
