The Stolper See is the northernmost and westernmost lake in the Wankendorf Lake District. It was formed after the Ice Age from a huge block of dead ice. The Stolper See is up to 14.6 m deep, 3 km long and up to 0.75 km wide. The Alte Schwentine flows through it. The Perdoel and Diekhof estates border on the eastern shore. Here the bank slope is covered with beech forest. The western shore is dominated by pasture and arable land. The lake has good water quality all summer long, which makes bathing in its waves so pleasant.
