The elaborately restored Thalhof was once the first address for aristocrats and literati for summer holidays. Among the elite guests were Emperor Franz Joseph and Arthur Schnitzler. Especially beautiful is the location in nature with the mountains in the background. Today the Thalhof is privately owned and used as a venue for events and performances.

First documented in 1652, the core dates back to the end of the 17th century, gradually expanded in the second half of the 19th century (including 1864, 1871/73, 1882, 1890), owned by Joseph Polleros in 1785 (licence to sell alcohol), from 1810 by the Waißnix family (1823 tavern licence), already a popular guesthouse in the Biedermeier period (Franz Joseph I during the hunting season), today a spa hotel, irregular, partly connected group of buildings with three main buildings.Source: Wikipedia
