Tips
The tidal North River originates from swamps and springs in Weymouth, Rockland and Hanson at the confluence of the Indian Head River and Herring Brook. The river is about 10 miles long. The cabin was built by the Norris couple. They had been buying up land along the river since the 1920s and restoring the land to a natural state after it had been used for many years by the shipbuilding industry in New England.
