Location: Leidschendam-Voorburg, South Holland, Netherlands
The lock in Leidschendam was built between 1886 and 1888, the drawbridges followed in 1889. What is special is that the lock chamber can be divided into two chambers with a connecting door. The lock bridges the (small) difference in water level between the Rijnland and Delfland water boards. There are many terraces on the water.
