Sagas and legends about Sulzbach
The Peterlesgrab The Mosbacher district boundary used to go as far as the Sulzbacher quarry. But the Mosbachers wanted it to go further. So it came to an argument. It was agreed that the limit should extend as far as the blacksmith Peter von Mosbach could carry a stone. Two kilometers before Sulzbach, Peter stumbled over a tree root at the edge of the forest, and the stone killed him. He was buried there too. The grave is still called "Peterlesgrab" today and has since formed the new border between Sulzbach and Mosbach.
