The originally late Gothic building was significantly rebuilt in the 18th and 19th centuries. The square tower with an octagonal top and slated onion dome with lantern bears the year 1701. The interior is characterized by the horseshoe-shaped gallery with organ and the wooden pulpit altar from the 18th century (Wikipedia)

The church was originally built in the late Gothic style. It got its current appearance through renovations at the beginning of the 18th century and in the 19th century. In 1767 Christiane Schnabel, Robert Schumann's mother, was baptized here in the church, which is reminiscent of a plaque on the church.
