The Neumühle was first mentioned in 1608, and it may have been built in the late Middle Ages. The mill fell victim to fire three times in 1871/1893 and 1936. There was an affiliated inn until 1918 with the name "Der Ochsenwirt". The mill operated the first Haßloch bathing establishment from August 31, 1854 to 1915. The grinding operation was stopped in 1972 and has been privately owned since then. The mill has been a listed building since 1989.
