The inconspicuous Rauchgern pass connects Tullnerbach (St. Pölten district) on the one hand with Sieghartskirchen (Tulln district). Rauchgern itself is a district of Pressbaum with a few houses. It is particularly popular due to its proximity to Vienna and for circumnavigating the northern Vienna Woods. The driveways are beautiful, but unspectacular. After leaving the village, the Ameisberg settlement is a little steeper uphill. And then the fun is actually over again.
