The Sulzerhöhe is an easy pass in the southern Vienna Woods between Kaltenleutmachen and Sulz. The pass is one of the most important excursion routes for cyclists coming from Vienna. The relatively constant gentle incline is also popular for FTP tests or workouts that require a gentle incline. Geographically, the Sulzerhöhe is 500 meters southeast of the pass, but the vernacular names the pass after the summit.
Northeast access road from Vienna Rodaun: The east access road to the Sulzerhöhe starts in Rodaun on the outskirts of Vienna. Coming from Vienna, head in the direction of Perchtoldsdorf and then take the turnoff in the direction of Kaltenleutmachen. In Kaltenleutmachen about half of the slight ascent is done. Towards the end, the road makes a sharp right and left turn. You can't call it a turn. There is a small bus stop at the apex.
West driveway from Sulz: The west driveway is a bit steeper than the east driveway, but very short. In Sulz you turn in the direction of Vienna, followed by a long left turn. That's it. A popular climb to get back to the city after a round through the Vienna Woods.
