For €7 you can visit the 1936 memorial for the German marines who died in WW I

erected memorial. On that place

are naval warfare equipment, including a

cable mine. Did you know that sea mines, unlike landmines, are not outlawed under the Geneva Conventions? Strange.

Through the historic hall, in which many detailed ship models are exhibited, one arrives at another underground hall of honour. The purpose of silent remembrance is deeply fulfilled through the special light, sound and room climate.
