The condition of the road on the ascent to Treviso is now hardly suitable for racing bikes due to potholes (August 2020). What might still work uphill quickly becomes a nuisance downhill, as the steep incline and potholes mean that you only hang on to the brakes. In the rain and with carbon wheels I would take a different path downhill.
