The barefoot park near Egestorf is a beautiful experience on the outskirts of Hamburg. This is where the barefoot hiking trail begins. At almost three kilometers (can be shortened), it meanders through 14 hectares of forest and meadows with more than 60 adventure stations. The path is to be walked barefoot, lockers as well as hoses and brushes for cleaning are available.
After an initial walk through ice-cold water, the soft, well-groomed forest floor leads to stages filled with various natural materials, such as pine cones, corks, beechnuts, heather and even (harmless) broken glass, but also pools with mud, bog, peat and others forms of slushiness. The feet look accordingly afterwards! Other stations playfully explain nature and natural laws with movement, sound and power.
A great, entertaining destination for the whole family! More information: barfusspark-egestorf.de

The long way is approx. 2.5 KM and contains 60 stations with puzzles, balancing and skill stations but also informative ones. All barefoot, of course. There is always the opportunity to rest. The path is beautiful and varied. At the end the washing station comes to free yourself from the traces.

Great idea, if it's not -8 C, explore the park barefoot. Very beautiful landscape.
