The Sudermühlen watermill was first mentioned in 1376 and is driven by the Schmale Aue, a tributary of the Seeve.The mill was in operation until 1939, when it was shut down. In the mill there is an art gallery with ceramics and pictures. Some of the mill technology is still there, but it is not functional
