The beach in Jantar is very wide and easily accessible thanks to a paved road, ending in a loop and a parking lot. You can buy everything you need for sunbathing at the stalls.

Unlike the highly advertised Stegna, where the road also runs close to the beach and there are also shopping and dining options, there are no steps in Jantar, making access to the beach very easy. This is a significant advantage for cyclists towing trailers and parents with children in strollers.

Compared to Mikoszewo, located closer to the mouth of the Vistula River, the beach in Jantar is not polluted by debris carried by the Vistula's current, especially during high water levels. You also don't have to navigate long stretches of forest where mosquito swarms are a real nuisance, as is the case in Mikoszewo and Junoszyn.

The water in Jantar is generally shallow, making it suitable for swimming for weak swimmers and those with children. It's separated from the deeper water by an underwater ridge, making it noticeably warmer. The beach is guarded by lifeguards until 5:00 PM, but it's worth taking a swim later in the day when the beach empties and the water is, or seems, even warmer.
