    The Mühle-Biberenächer barrier follows the old three-lake defense line (Murten fortification) designed and built during the First World War. It includes more than ten concrete plants as well as two anti-tank obstacles. The old Biberenächer base from the First World War was used and modified to meet the new requirements.
