The quiet road along the southern shore of loch Tay is a lovely ride even though the surface isn't perfect. The views north across the loch and up to Ben Lawers and the surrounding mountains are awesome.
The road links Kenmore at the eastern end to Killin at the western end. You can create a full loop of the loch by using the slightly busier but better surfaced A827 along the northern shore. This is also NCN7.

South side road between Kenmore and Killin, cycle friendly road, ie quiet, but very lumpy 😃 Gives great view across the Loch to the north and Ben Lawers.
