Originally, the house consisted of a simple brick living area with bedsteads, and a wooden back house with a threshing area and stable. Over the years, the house has been adapted to the changing requirements of the times. Of the original 430 colony houses, about 50 have been preserved, 14 of which are included in the National Monuments List.
