The Grambker lake is tucked away in the midst of a village-like settlement in the district Burg - Grambke. This elongated narrow lake is one of the few naturally formed lakes in Bremen. As a relic of an old breakthrough of Hamme and Wümme by the Bremer dune, the Grambker lake represents the forerunner of the Lesum, which was able to create a river bed located north in historical times. The banks are overgrown with willows, tall poplars and old beech trees, giving the overall picture a park-like character. Röhricht is scattered on the shore.
