A fabulous gravel climb (or descent if you prefer!) that runs along the edge of the reservoir.

This climbs very gradually along the bed of an old tramway and is a much more pleasant way to reach the top of the pass to Pontsticill reservoir than the wall of a climb at the head of the road.

Passable on a road bike with care, but will be a nicer experience overall as a climb on skinny tyres than a descent.

A beautiful climb but some of the tracks which are marked on komoot etc are not paths you can can cycle along, or even walk easily along in some cases. Stick to the actual trail and you will be fine.
