Information:
The station was opened in 1954 as the "New Life Pioneer Station" and has been the starting and ending point for all passenger trains ever since. In 1980, a new station building was constructed and opened, and the station was renamed "Friendship Pioneer Station." In 1990, it was renamed once again to Küchwaldwiese Station.
