The magic linden tree is the starting point of the Barbarossa Gorge circular hike. Why it is called that is explained on boards. These boards, which look like an oversized, unfolded book of fairy tales, accompany you on the entire route, which takes around 90 minutes to walk. They tell the legend of the faithful Barbarossa, who went in search of four magical remedies in the allegedly cursed gorge to save their doomed emperor.
