About 500 meters north of the stone mill in Gusental is a high rock, the so-called Toifiskira (Devil's Church). The Linz-Budweis horse-drawn railway, which was closed in 1872, lies at the foot of the rock.

Around 1830 the route was blasted out of the rock. The devil who sat on the top of the rock did not approve of the building and blasting noise. He also feared for his peace in the future. Therefore, every night, when the route was cleared again, he fell again tons of stones on the railway line. But when he saw that the hardworking workers were clearing away the stones every day, he moved, full of anger, to a quieter area. At the top of the rock, an imprint of his buttocks and paws still testifies to his favorite place.
