Pesch is a northern part of the municipality of Nettersheim in the Euskirchen district in the northern Eifel. Numerous finds that were made in and around Pesch at the beginning of the 20th century prove that the Pesch district was settled in Roman times. Cremation and body burial graves north of the place. There were also buildings and graves in the Wespeltal and Unterpesch, as well as a late Roman coin find, which is no longer preserved.

The so-called pagan temple, a Roman sanctuary of the Matronae Vacallinehae, which was excavated between 1913 and 1918 in the corridor “Auf dem Addig”, is of great importance among the ancient monuments.
