You don't have to climb properly, but you have to choose your steps very carefully, pull up on the few safety ropes and otherwise use all of the vegetation within reach as a climbing aid. And when you think you've made it, you can already see the next slate rock to climb around. This is repeated five times until you have actually reached the lookout point on the exposed rock.

The excellent impression is completed by a route that, conditionally quite demanding, often runs on narrow paths and rocky climbs. Culture is not neglected either, as a visit to the Roman Villa Rustica in the starting and finishing point in Mehring awaits you after the hike.
