The Kermelberg water tower in Witten-Schnee marks one of Witten's highest points (258 m above sea level) in the beech wood forest area on the city limits of Herdecke and is visible from afar as a landmark. It dates from the 1950s and is 30 m high.

The water tower on the Kermelberg in Witten is also called the “molar tooth” because its broad, massive shape and the cylindrical water tank with protruding elements are reminiscent of a human molar.

The Kermelberg water tower in snow marks one of Witten's highest points (258 m above sea level) in the Buchenholz forest area on the city limits of Herdecke and is a landmark that can be seen from afar. It dates from 1958 and is 30 m high. Its capacity of 300 m³ is divided into two tanks: the inner circle holds 175 m³ and the outer circle 125 m³ of drinking water.

The outside platform can be visited by arrangement with Stadtwerke Witten.

The water tower is the middle of three towers along the 14 km long Drei-Turme-Weg, a Witten circular hiking trail from Haus Berge via the Hohenstein nature recreation area with the Berger monument to the water tower, then back along the Borbach and finally past the Helenenturm.
