Cycling

On the east wall of the south aisle hangs the so-called "Borkener Gabelkruzifix" from the first half of the 14th century. In 1953, this crucifix could only be restored with great effort. During the restoration, a wooden relic wrapped in parchment was found in the head of the Corpus with the inscription "From the wood or beam, nailed under the feet of Jesus Christ by Pilate".

Cycling

Today's Church of St. Remigius was rebuilt in the early 1950s after severe damage in World War II. Its origins go back to a Carolingian wooden church that existed here in the late 8th century, a Romanesque stone church from the 12th century, and a late Gothic hall church built in the 15th century and enlarged to its present form in the late 19th century .
