Cycling
There's no denying that this is a tough route, with some hike-a-bike needed for the steep ascent up from Branscombe beach if you're heading west to east, but it is *so* worth it for the incredible cliff-top views over to Beer and Seaton beyond as you ride along the grassy tops. The bridleway takes a different route to the South West Coast Path here so make sure you get the right track, which takes you to the edge of Beer at Common Hill.

If its nice its worth it, if there's no visibility then I would take one of the road climbs out of Branscombe, which is worth the visit on its own.
The actual hike a bike section is about 500m long, other than that follow the highlight route as its closest to the sea.
