The summit cross on the Faßberg (94 m above sea level) is located in the Schmarbeck juniper forest near Faßberg and is easily accessible via paved cycle paths. The route leads through open heathland and shady forests and can easily be incorporated into a cycling tour through the Lüneburg Heath.
