    An old monument worth seeing.

This is the preysing pillar. See entry on Wiki:
The Preysingsäule is an obelisk in the Forst Kasten southwest of Munich. It was built in 1735 by Elector Karl Albrecht of Bavaria out of gratitude for the recovery of his Grand Chancellor Max Emmanuel von Preysing at the point where Preysing was badly overthrown. The memorial is on the corner of Preysing Geräum / Neurieder Gangsteig in the southern part of the forest, which belongs to the Forstenrieder Park landscape protection area.

There is always something free at the parking lot in Forst Kasten - and you have a pleasant and nutritious end to your hike.
The hike itself is mostly on terraced paths - except for a short section through the bushes (but it is easy to find there too).
The acorn meadow is always worth a hike and is nicely located in the middle here; otherwise it is mostly state forest - so rather uninteresting - with sections such as the revived rows of oak trees (with information boards), a few clearings and also a few orchids as botanical delicacies (although "only" Epipactis). Mostly shady in summer. And totally flat.
