Súľov Castle is currently an attractive ruin, which is located Súľovské hills at an altitude of 660m. The castle was built in the 15th century to observe and defend the surrounding area. The location for the construction of the castle was chosen excellently, because it offers excellent views of a large area. Today the castle serves tourist destinations. It is one of the most interesting ruins of Slovakia.

Súľov Castle is an interesting tourist point. It forms part of the Beskydy castle triangle. From the castle there is a beautiful circular view of Súľovské vrchy, I recommend it to all lover of sight-seeing. Súľovské vrchy is a unique and picturesque part of Slovakia with its white rocks.

The path just below the castle is steep but secured by ladders and chains.
