The railway bridge at Assenheim is an imposing structure and always beautiful to look at. The first bridge was built with the construction of the Friedberg-Hauau railway line between 1878 and 1881. The current bridge was built in 1929.
In the 1950s there was a campsite with a swimming pool right by the bridge.
