Mountain biking

550 meters of direct ascent from Niederheimbach. The mountain path can be very rutted after heavy rain, when it's dry the rubble rolls away under the tires, so reduce tire pressure. This makes it harder to crank, but it is safer, especially downhill. Otherwise a very nice route, past the Siebenburgenblick tower, at the top it clears up and the Rhine Valley and the course of the eastern Hunsrück mountains can be seen very nicely.
