    Hiking

In August 2019, a dedicated crew of eight Arizona Trail Association volunteers to install an AZT Rainwater Collector in this remote location between the Gila River and Picketpost Trailhead. Just follow the loop trail to get to this unique unit that is the first of its kind and was designed by the Arizona Trail Association and metalsmith extraordinaire Rob Bauer in consultation with sustainability professionals, land managers and engineers. There is also plenty of space for tents and much needed shade.
