The windmill was built in 1860 by Lindholm's owner Carl Gustaf von Celsing. In the weathervane are his initials. The mill was used until 1923, when problems with wings and balance arose this year. Fruitless attempts to get the mill working failed. In 1970, the mill was renovated and got the look it has today.
