The "Żubrowisko" nature reserve in Jankowice, near Pszczyna, was established in 1996. It is a partial reserve, covering an area of 744.61 ha. Its goal is to protect the bison population, our largest mammal and a specific symbol of our fauna. There is a herd of about 40 individuals in the reserve.
For individual tourists visiting the educational path and the bison farm at the Bison Breeding and Forest Education Center. FREE ADMISSION.
