Guggenberg is a castle owned by the noble Neubronner family. The castle is a three-wing complex with a three-storey manor house. Guggenberg Castle was first mentioned in 1441 as a forestry house of the Bishopric of Augsburg. In 1448, the bishop granted the farm as a fief to the Augsburg patrician family Langenmantel vom Sparren.
