    Hiking

From the Rotenboden cable car station you can take a very beautiful alpine hike to the Riffelberg cable car station. The route is easy to walk, it is mostly slightly downhill and takes around 1 1/2 hours including photo stops. Fantastic views of the Matterhorn and the surrounding mountains. Not recommended in bad weather though!
