Hiking

The 12.5-meter-high tower was built in 1938 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Swabian Alb Association. Previously, a wooden tower, built in 1892, stood on this site. The key to the tower is available at the Volksbank or Café Morlock on Teckplatz.

Hiking

I can't recommend it as a main destination, but you can take the tower with you for additional installation in a tour. There are additional highlights in the vicinity that you can also control. 🤗🖖

Hiking

From the 12.5 meter high tower made of Plochingen Angulate sandstone you have a wonderful view over Schurwald, Neckar Valley and Swabian Alb. The tower is open on Sundays, on the other days the key is available in the Café Morlock opposite.
