Backöfele Observation Tower on Schneeberg

A must for every outdoor fan, after all, it is the highest elevation in the Upper Franconia region.
Beautiful climbs especially on Seehaus and Nußhardt, although the most exhausting, it is worthwhile especially with a trip to Nußhardt itself and a stop at the lake house on `cappucci cheesecake or a hearty snack;)

On the Schneeberg at 1000 Meterstein, the highest elevation in Upper Franconia, up to the summit at 1051 m above sea level.
The climb is always worth it;
a) because the highest mountain in the region
b) many paths and from all sides lead to the summit
c) very nice with fully or enduro over the Nußardt, up and down
d) with hard part more suitable over Hagerstein but also possible over Nußhardt with carrying units
e) an experience, the Backöfela with viewing platform, very beautiful

The Schneeberg is the highest mountain in the Fichtelgebirge. You can drive to it on a gravel road or a paved road.
