"Who likes the silence. The Hullerner See is something for walkers or cyclists who are looking for quiet leisure activities. The idyllically situated lake offers a circular route with tranquil vantage points.
All year round you can observe what is going on on the lake and on land: cormorants, great crested grebes, geese, pochards or gray herons, to name just a few representatives of the bird world - and with a little luck, you may even see an osprey.
On request, the tourist information office of the city of Haltern can also arrange ornithological tours around the lake.
