The Coll de Coma d'Anyell offers a passage at an altitude of 2,470 meters between the Bésines valley and the Lanoux pond.
Historically, the pass has long served as a border between the kingdoms of France and Spain. Now, it is used by major hiking routes, such as the Haute Route des Pyrénées (HRP) or the Hexatrek.
Also, anyell means “lamb” in Catalan. It is a name that is regularly found in the local toponymy of the relief.

The path to Lac des Bouillouses stretches, but is relatively flat after the descent.
