Lac de Lanoux or Estany de Lanòs is the largest lake in the French Pyrenees with 17.1 square kilometers. Nestled at an altitude of 2,213 meters within spectacular mountains, it offers a vast and gentle interlude for hikers.

Hiking

Beautifully located lake also called Lanos. In September 1983 I was snowed in here at the Cabane de Rouzet and had to hike down in 15 cm of fresh snow. In 2018, the lake showed itself from its most beautiful side.
