The Holzwarche Valley is one of the most important habitats for the wild daffodil. It lies within the 'Vallée de la Holzwarche' nature reserve and belongs to the High Fens-Eifel Nature Park. The valley is considered one of the last and most important refuges of this species in Western-Central Europe.

The Holzwarche rises not far from the Belgian-German border near Losheimergraben. Every year in April, a natural spectacle takes place along the wet valley meadows: countless blooming daffodils.

La Holzwarche prend sa source non loin de la frontière belgo-allemande, près de Losheimergraben. Chaque année en avril, un spectacle naturel se déroule le long des prairies humides de la vallée: innombrables jonquilles en fleurs.
