Between Müden/Aller and the district of Bokelberge you turn off the "Aller-Radweg" in a small forest area and after about 500 meters you reach the Alleraue north of the district of Gerstenbüttel.
A renaturation project was launched here in 2017 and has now been completed.
The Aller had been straightened decades ago, but now a large tributary and still waters have been created again. It is hoped that this will lead to the spread of rare flora and fauna.
On a hill, a bench invites you to take a break and observe nature.
